Shitkicker — Adventures of Malakai

Director of Photography for Shitkicker’s Adventures of Malakai promo, creating a gritty, energetic and playful visual style for their debut single. I designed the camera and lighting approach across the performance and narrative sequences, including the surreal cardboard box escape route used by Malakai to evade bullying. I used dynamic camera movement, punchy lighting and creative framing to enhance the promo’s humour, energy and anarchic Bristol character.

Sweet Flower — Music Promo

Director of Photography for Sweet Flower, developing a cinematic visual style through considered camera movement, lens choice, composition and lighting. I created atmospheric lighting setups using colour, contrast and practical sources to give the promo depth, texture and a distinctive visual identity, working closely with the director to bring the concept and performance together.

As Director of Photography, I developed the camera and lighting approach for the promo's, using composition, lens selection, movement and lighting to create a visual world that complemented the music. I worked closely with Steve Phillips the director and performers to build a look that felt organic, expressive and contemporary, balancing performance led coverage with more stylised imagery.
