As the green screen Director of Photography, I was responsible for lighting the presenter and ensuring a seamless visual match between the studio photography and the aquatic environments featured throughout the series.

I also was involved with additional set filming including the interior Submarine and Underwater base.

Filming took place at Bottle Yard Studios, where I worked closely with the production and post production teams to achieve convincing integration between the live action studio footage and the wildlife and ocean environments used in the final programme. The VFX and environment work were completed by Dog House Post, helping to create a cohesive and immersive final world.

Synopsis:

Andy returns for a new series of epic aquatic adventures. Travelling across the globe, he explores some of the world’s most remarkable waters, coming face to face with dolphins, whales and a wide range of extraordinary marine life.
